Who can register a billable .hr domain?

All users can register an unlimited number of billable .hr domains. Companies can register an unlimited number of billable .hr domains without any limitations in the domain name. Associations may also register an unlimited number of billable .hr domains without any limitations in the domain name as long as the domain name has not already been registered. Crafts and independent businesses (artists, lawyers, doctors, etc.) can also register an unlimited number of billable domains without any limitations in the domain name.

How many billable .hr domains can a company situated in the EU register?

All EU companies can register an unlimited number of billable .hr domains, instead of the previous 10 billable domains. The only requirement is that the company is registered in the VIES. You can manage your registered domain from the InfoNET client zone.

Can I change user / owner of .hr domain?

Changing the user of the domain is not possible except in case of changing the user’s name or a legal succession. In all other cases, the domain can be registered to another user only if the current user has previously requested deletion of the domain.

How can I transfer a domain to your registry?

If you want to transfer a domain to our registry, it is necessary to:

Create a transfer order.
The domain needs to be unlocked with the current registrar, the protection of privacy needs to be lifted (if it is active) and the transfer code needs to be assumed (the code is to be entered during the order, or subsequently delivered), it is also necessary to verify that the domain contains correct data and an active e-mail address of the administrator.
Once we start the transfer, an e-mail will be sent to the administrator’s e-mail address, which then has to be confirmed in order for the transfer to begin.

After confirmation, the transfer will be completed within 7 working days and there will be no interruption in the website (unless the domain has expired or a modification of DNS records has been made).

When will my domain become active?

During their lease, some commercial domains (.com, .org, .net, .info) become active from several hours after registering to a maximum of 24 hours. The process from registration to activation is called propagation of the domain and during that time, the domain is being registered in the world’s DNS servers. In order for the domain to work, it must be set to the correct DNS records of the leased hosting package. If the domain does not contain DNS records, it cannot be propagated.
